Support

Please help sustain this unique & successful organisation.

photo access is Australia’s oldest surviving photographic organisation and was established 40 years ago as an artist’s collective. This longevity is something we here at PhotoAccess take great pride in but cannot take for granted. We are reliant on our supportive Members for financial and voluntary support as well as funding bodies, such as ArtsACT and Creative Australia for operational support.

We also seek special funding for one-off projects targeting areas of our broader community, such as Stories of Service & Digital Storytelling.

Funding is always restricted for arts organisations and our ambition to be a leading regional resource for investigating photography in all its forms means we need more enlightened supporters, members, individuals, groups, businesses, and government agencies to assist us in achieving our many public goals. Without you, we may not survive the next 40 challenging years.

photo access is a non-profit organisation and a registered charity and donations of $2 or more are tax deductible. No amount is too small, and all gifts go towards helping create artist opportunities such as exhibitions, residencies, and outreach programs.

As a donor (of any amount), we’ll invite you to become part of our Supporters Circle and recognise your contribution online (all donors) and on our in-gallery honour roll (donations over $200). We look forward to welcoming you to future events celebrating our inspiring donor community.

We gladly receive donations of photographic equipment for use in our workshops and projects or of photography and art books for our growing library. Film cameras, in particular medium format cameras, are especially welcome at the moment.

Here you can find ways in which you can contribute to photo access’s success in engaging with and reflecting and illuminating our community. Please do not hesitate to call on (02) 6295 7810 or email [email protected].
