To the budding photography enthusiast, Adobe Photoshop can seem to be a complex and daunting software package. The Photoshop Basics one-day course will help take the mystery out of Photoshop and teach how and when to use common tools and editing techniques for bringing the most out of your photos.

In this workshop, we will go through common photo editing and retouching scenarios and techniques in Photoshop. This includes an introduction to basic tools (such as select, paintbrush, eraser, dodge and burn, and crop), common portrait retouching techniques, colour adjustment and replacement, using filters and an introduction to layers and masks. Your tutor Julian Lumb will also work with students to explore their own learning priorities so they can get the most out of the workshop, regardless of their photographic aims and interests.

You’ll be assisted by an experienced tutor Julian Lumb who will help you in identifying common issues and equip you with the best remedies. By the end, you’ll be confident enough to know how edit and take creative control of your images!

This workshop requires no-prior understand of editing software and is suitable for everyone who wants to know how to take better control of their photography and image processing.
