Lightroom and Colour Correction Online Workshop

In this online workshop, join photographer Grace Costa as she takes you through her efficient and organised Lightroom Classic workflow that she has mastered over many years as a commercial photographer. As well as getting a grasp on Lightroom Classic, the session will also cover colour correction, ranging from creative portrait work to enhance storytelling to commercial portraits for natural, true-to-life results in a whole host of lighting conditions.

While lighting conditions cannot always be controlled, participants will learn editing techniques to improve the outcomes of their images. This is a workshop that is full of hands-on experience, with opportunities to analyse creative portraits and ask specific technical questions. By the end of the session, you’ll have learned how to elevate your images so they look clean, consistent, and professional.

This course is suitable for individuals with all levels of experience in Lightroom Classic, perfect for both beginners and those in need of a refresher. This course will teach you new techniques to enhance your photo editing and image management skills for both personal and professional use.

Having access to Photoshop is not necesssary but there will be some demonstrations using Photoshop in conjunction with Lightroom Classic.

Grace Costa

Grace Costa is a commercial photographer, photography business coach, and host of The Photo Diaries podcast. Based in Canberra, she’s spent over two decades shooting and mentoring, combining creative development with practical business systems. As a mentor, Grace helps photographers step into confidence while building booked-out businesses that deliver freedom, profit, and respect in a saturated industry. She also supports photographers with technical foundations, such as photo editing, image management, and lighting skills.

In 2017, Grace presented a TEDxCanberra talk based on her most successful body of work. She’s a two-time finalist in the National Photographic Portrait Prize, a multiple Head On finalist and exhibitor, and her personal work has been exhibited in galleries around Australia and in 2020 taught and won a Canberra Critics Award for the Portfolio to Exhibition workshop/exhibition at photo access.
