Film Developing and Scanning Workshop
This workshop is a quick and easy way to learn how to develop your own black and white 35mm film or 120 film.
In this hand-on workshop in the studio, you will learn the basics of RA colour printing from your own colour negatives. You will be guided by the Master – Sandy Barnard – with over 40 years of experience collaborating and printing for most of Australia’s leading photographers and artists. Throughout this course you will learn the basics of colour printing and be equipped with the necessary skills to successfully run your own contact sheets and make enlargements of your negatives.
Prior experience and basic competency in the darkroom printing from B&W negatives is required.
All participants are to come with their own developed colour negatives for printing.
All other materials will be provided including chemistry and paper.
Please note: The location of the studio is in Sydney, so all participants will need to make their own way to Sydney. This cost is not included in the workshop fee.
This class is limited to six participants only and will be exclusively available for photo access members. If you are not currently a member, join now!
