In this hands-on workshop, you will gain a practical understanding of your camera’s functions – aperture, shutter speed and ISO – together with manual focus techniques and the basics of creative composition. You’ll apply these practical techniques and newly established skills over the course of the day and have the opportunity to ask questions and gain feedback, all under the guidance of experienced photographer and tutor Julian Lumb.

This workshop is for absolute beginners with a digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) cameras or mirror-less cameras (with interchangeable lens) wishing to gain an understanding of the basic principles of digital photography.
