Greta Cooper

A photograph of a woman with long curly hair smiling at the camera, she wears a white shirt with beaded necklace

Greta Cooper is an emerging artist working across mediums such as photography, printmaking, drawing, painting and textiles. Greta’s practice explores her curiosity with nature and her connection with the environment. Recently graduated from ANU School of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Visual Arts (Honours), Greta has started to explore installation by using video and audio techniques. Her artworks look at environmental themes of ecological grief, memory, storytelling, and human’s impact on the environment. She also draws inspiration from her family and hometown Moruya (NSW).

Greta has recently exhibited in the 2023 Grad Show exhibition, at the ACT Legislative Assembly, and is currently a stable artist at the Gallery of Small Things in Watson (ACT). Greta will have her second solo show in May 2025 at the Mechanics Institute, Moruya (NSW).
