Cass Li

Cass Li is an artist and writer with a creative documentary practice from Western Sydney, based on Dharug country. Her essayistic work, often drawing on her Chinese Timorese-Indonesian heritage, seeks connection in present and ancestral realities. Through film and photography, she explores the moving boundaries of insider/outsider across time, place, and memory. Her first film, the sign of a frog (2022), was screened at Antenna Documentary Film Festival.

In 2024, Cass developed conjunto não precisa chorar during a residency in Portugal, funded by AARTS and CreateNSW. Most recently, she has cultivated her practice through opportunities with CuriousWorks, WritingNSW, and National Young Writers Festival.

Dylan Marriott

Dylan Marriott (b.1999) is an artist working within the boundaries of photography. Originally from Boorloo, Perth, he now lives and works in Naarm, Melbourne. His photographic practice takes interest in (un)common spaces and the psychological implications of objects and their silhouettes, with a focus on the materiality of the printed image. He recently completed studying Fine Art at the University of Melbourne, with his graduate work awarded the Fiona and Sidney Myer Award, as well as being acquired into George Paton Gallery’s collection. Recent solo and group exhibitions include Remember The Darkness, NOTTURNO (Melbourne), One way or another, Minerva (Sydney), You Got This, Minerva (Sydney), DEBUT XXI, Blindside (Melbourne), and the 2025 Mullins Conceptual Photography Prize (Muswellbrook).

Elesa Stellios

Elesa Stellios’s works investigate new forms of intimacy and spiritualism in the wake of an emerging technological paradigm. A cultural shift towards embracing new technologies such as AI has seen growing concerns about our intensifying reliance on these systems, and how deeply they are altering our human experiences and shaping a digital dystopia. Merging spiritual and corporate aesthetics, her work intends to provoke reflection on the predatory tactics of the tech sphere, alongside our willingness to engage with simulated and artificial forms of intimacy

Toni Tait

Toni Tait is a South African-born artist working across sound, assemblage, expanded photography and video on Gadigal land. Her emerging practice examines the entanglements between settler colonialism, infrastructure, and the natural world. Guided by deep listening, she attunes to silenced presences and histories held within the land. She develops site-responsive works that engage the body as an instrument of perception, drawing audiences into the vibrations, histories and relations embedded in place. Through gestures of re-mediation, mapping and disruption, her work seeks to open possibilities for collective (un)learning while embodying a sense of protest and responsibility.

XinShuo Zhuo

XinShuo Zhuo is a Chinese artist based in Naarm, Melbourne. His practice focuses on visualised East Asian diaspora emotional states by using metaphor, symbol, and photographs of representative surroundings. Through his practice, Zhuo aims to investigate how installation and analogue photography practices can be employed to explore ideas of emotional conflict and alienation in high-context language cultures. And in an alternative photographic process, how can time, bodily interaction, and materials be employed to express East Asian metaphor and the fluidity of emotion.
