Thomas Edmondson

A black and white photograph of a man behind large palm leaves that partially cover and shadow his face

Thomas Edmondson is a Canberra-based (Ngunnawal/Ngambri Country) photographer whose work engages with the relationship between the built and natural environment. Thomas has an interest in the collision between humans and their surrounds, particularly in liminal spaces. He studied Photo Imaging at TAFE NSW and photographs primarily with film and loves printing in the darkroom. He has exhibited in several group shows and in 2020 commissioned to contribute work to The Canberra Graffiti Project funded by Tuggeranong Arts Centre. He is technically minded and enjoys the challenges of dark room processing, as well as sharing his knowledge and experience with others.
